We order all of our ARF Scouts with the most sensible airframe options and VFR avionics. We then offer you a custom registration number and a variety of options to choose from which we install at our shop. The aircraft are also equipped with a heated pitot tube in case you want to upgrade to IFR with the addition of a 430/530 and the factory gyro panel package which can be installed in our Service Center. Without this option it would be very difficult to ever get the aircraft IFR certified. We install the sunroof on all aircraft because of the improved visibility in the direction of the turn. We also use the JPI EDM-930 "All In One" complete engine digital instrumentation system in our Scouts. This is the best engine analyzer/fuel totalizer and the new digital fuel gauges are very accurate! This Scout has the new extended baggage compartment for long items and also includeds moving the battery to the firewall. This improves the CG and due to less electrical cable resistence spins the starter better. The total price below is as equipped so you will need to choose any additional airframe options and avionics you would like for a final price. We will get them installed quickly and you will end up with the panel you wanted rather than the panel some dealer wanted. We have also changed the wheels to the 6.00 x 6 so you have the option of installing tundra tires. The stock wheels do not work with these tires. This means you can switch between the 850 x 6 tires that it comes with and the Alaska Bushwheel 31" tundra tires if you wish. We also install the MT two blade scimitar prop due to its better performance and 13 pound weight savings! With the MT prop and the 31's this aircraft can do some amazing things! All of our Scouts have the VG kit for improved slow speed handling. The VG kit is factory installed and painted to match. We also use the aluminum gear on all our aircraft due to the lower weight and better ground handling plus the brake line is internal! We use the metal belly on the Scout since the aircraft will be flown off unpaved surfaces and needs the additional protection from debris. The factory warranty is 240 hours or one year parts and labor! This Scout will be ready in Feb 2009. If you call now we can alter certain items on this Scout to suit your needs! |
